If you’re a chocolate lover (and who isn’t?), you must visit the new Cocoa Lounge at The Island Hotel in Fashion Island. Located in a secluded room near the back of the Palm Terrace Restaurant, Cocoa Lounge features a seductive assortment of scrumptious desserts designed by Executive Pastry Chef Michael Owens.

We went to a special sneak preview of the Cocoa Lounge and sampled as many desserts as we could before the sugar rush kicked in. Favorites included the White Chocolate Strawberry Cheesecake and the Chocolate Pudding Cake, but the winner was the moist and flavorful Chocolate Chip Bread Pudding, which Chef Owens revealed is made with day old croissants!
This Ultimate Dessert Experience is available Tuesday – Saturday, February 4th – 26th, from 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Price $18 person, but if you dine at Palm Terrace Restaurant in February, Tuesday through Saturday, you receive one complimentary entry to the Cocoa Lounge with the purchase of any two-course dinner.
