Covering the dining scene in and around the OC
After a 15 year absence, The Taste of Orange County returns June 16 (Noon – 10 pm) & June 17 (Noon – 8 pm) to a new location: Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Irvine.
This two-day food, wine and entertainment festival is expected to draw more than 20,000 food fans, who will enjoy tastings from local restaurants, cooking demos from OC’s top chefs, wine seminars, art, live music, and more.
A few of the chefs scheduled to offer cooking demos include executive chef Rob Wilson of Montage Laguna Beach, chef Pascal Olhats of Pascal Restaurants (Brasserie Pascal, Tradition, etc), executive chef Michael Rossi of The Ranch Restaurant, chef Jonathan Blackford of A Restaurant, executive chef Greg Daniels of Haven Gastropub, Chef Matt Briggs of Mastro’s Ocean Club, and many more. Chef Jamie Gwen of KFWB will host the chef demos.
