Winners Announced at the 2013 Golden Foodie Awards

x_MG_7425It was a fabulous evening of fantastic food, creative cocktails and the presentation of 27 awards at the 2nd annual Golden Foodie Awards, presented by the OC Restaurant Association September 29 at The Fairmont Newport Beach. This annual event celebrated and recognized outstanding OC chefs and restaurants.

The event began with a gold carpet entrance followed by food stations from many of the Golden Foodie nominees, and libations by Patron, Chambord and others.

And then there were the awards, presented by such notable names as Heather Dubrow and Vicki Gunvalson from The Real Housewives of Orange County, Wing Lam of Wahoo’s Fish Taco, Stan Frazier (drummer for Sugar Ray), Real Housewives creator and executive producer Scott Dunlop, and many more.

The Off the Menu OC team was there, and we had a terrific time talking with chefs and restaurateurs, and catching up with fellow food writers.

So…who took home a Golden Foodie statuette?
